Hello. I have just seen a program about the Katrina hurricane and I am shocked. The fact that the only help offered by the government is DEATH is appauling. I had only heard of the hurricane and presumed that people were exagerating. How wrong I have been. How can George Bush not give help to New Orleans but he can send troops in with orders of 'shoot to kill' because of looting etc. Yet, if I had no food, no water and no money, I think that I would be looting again. We have seen the failures of George Bush many times yet to have troops killing their own civilians is barbaric. He went to war with Iraq because Sadaam Hussein did it yet now he is doing it himself. Because that's what it is. Execution.

When will George Bush learn that he should do something to help stop pollution. That is what he should be fighting against. That is what we as a global government should be fighting against. But I guess it just goes to show how the neglect to his own people is all so that he doesn't have to cut down on the billions that the government recieve to fight the 'war on terror'. Is this not terror in a different sense? I realise that I am seriously putting my life on the line here by publishing this and I will probably be silenced by the US for treason or nationality hatred or some ridiculous crime but I believe that the people of America should understand that George Bush should not be voted for again. I was suprised that they still voted for him in the last election. He did not go to Iraq because of 'weapons of mass destruction' because he knew that they didn't exist. Well, in truthness he probably had no say in the matter. He was most likely to have been advised to go to Iraq by the large amount of people employed in the White House.

Overall, Katrina is in despair and at current there isn't much hope that the government is going to lend a hand. So I will just say this, help in any way that you can.

Due to new knowlege I now understand the problems that federal and state government are facing in America yet I still believe that a natural disaster should be sorted with the help of both the state and the federal government. Thankyou.
